REAC 810 NRC BWR Systems Overview
This course provides a general familiarity with the mechanical, instrumentation and control, and protective systems of the General Electric (GE) Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) design. Functions and flow paths of major systems, instrumentation, terminology, and equipment location are described. Emphasis is placed on the nuclear steam supply system including the engineered safety features.
